For Ford, GM and AMC
You are looking at a front coil spring compressor that is used to remove and install the front coil springs in a wide variety of Makes and Models of cars. Which I have listed below. From AMC's to Chevy II's and from Comets to Mustangs. This IS the tool you need to do the job and the LAST you’ll ever buy!! Compare and you will see, that my design is the best that you can get. Do not be fooled by others who use lesser quality tubing and Grade 5 hardware. “Round” Pipe and Grade 8 hardware is the strongest way to build a tool like this one!!
Need a “Thrust Bearing“ to make the job easier and faster (works especially well if you have arthritic hands). For $12.25 extra I’ll ship both items together. You’ll thank me later!
The body of the tool is made up of 3/4" heavy wall DOM pipe/tube. 3/4" ACME threaded rod and an EXTRA heavy ACME nut (not standard duty). The upper plate (used for the Mustang and Cougar applications) and lower plate are CNC laser cut for a superb fit. The body of the tool is “Fully” TIG welded for instant weld depth penetration and a porosity-FREE (no dirt in the weld) joint, giving it superior strength. The tool is painted/powder coated Satin Black. ALL of the hardware (except acme nut) is Grade 8 (Hardened to a value of 120,000+ psi of tensile strength). Combine it all together, and you get a tool that will last lifetimes!! The "real" bullet proof design
All of these tools are "Hand Built" and welded by an ASME certified Pipe and Naval Ship welder, hand inspected for quality and finish painted before they're shipped. It comes with everything you see, ALL necessary hardware plus detailed instructions with pictures.
The tool color is Satin Black as pictured, but sometimes we do paint them a Satin Silver/gray Metallic.
